I have the honor of teaching and conducting research in the Republic of Georgia as a Fulbright Scholar for the 2015 – 2016 academic year. In addition to teaching courses on Drug Prevention at Ilia State University in Tbilisi I am conducting seminars and trainings on the use of mindfulness-based practices for traumatic stress and addictions. I also have the wonderful opportunity to be a student of Georgian culture this year and I am blogging about the wonderful people, my experiences and my random observations.
